Immersive Forest presents an artificial vision of nature, drawing on the pictorial heritage of Romantic paintings, where nature is both sublimated and untamed. This series engages in a dialogue between contemporary technological approaches and the pictorial heritage, questioning the way in which digital art is redefining our relationship with the landscape. The generative chimeras add a fantastical tone, immersing the viewer in a mythical forest and questioning the ambivalence between artifice and authenticity in our quest for virtual escape.
